Afro-Cuban jazz piano meets classical meets world music. Havana-based pianist Aldo López-Gavilán almost defies categorization. His piano solos mesmerized audiences at a sold-out Isabel show in October 2014 when he accompanied Carlos Varela. Now he’s back for a solo show that will illustrate why piano great Chucho Valdés calls him "simply a genius, a star.”
A portion of the proceeds from this concert will go to the Sonia Enjamio Fund at Queen’s to support Cuban and Canadian student exchange programs.
Seating for this performance is General Admission.
